Scott Music Resources Concerts Workshops Reviews Bio

Reasonably well-versed in the African roots of blues, I make a certain portion of my car payments each year by giving teaching concerts that feature a variety of regional styles of blues and performances of the music of Blind Blake, Rev. Gary Davis and Blind Boy Fuller (home town favorites), Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, B. B. King (and the like) on a beautiful old metal-bodied National Guitar.  Festival performances, the college coffeehouse circuit, local arts councils, (and the occasional inspirational speaking engagement) fill in the holes, which are few, thanks to my agent, John Loyd at Loyd Artists.

I will be one of the featured artists at the UWM Spring Stringalong in May 2003, and at the Swannanoa Gathering in July 2003.
